The Liverpool & Macarthur Multiple Birth Association objectives are:
- To provide a means of communication for sharing information on the care and raising of multiple birth children
- To provide social meetings and functions for members
- To be a non-commercial, non-sectarian and non-profit organisation
- To provide moral support
- To make available its resources for the use of members and other relevant community groups
- To co-operate with and actively participate in research projects on local, national and international levels
- To publicise and promote the Association, its aims and activities
We offer a number of services to our members, which include:
- Discounts - on a range of local services/business
- Meetings - Click for a list of dates for up coming meetings
- Bi-monthly Newsletters - these contain lots of interesting articles about our club members and local events/meet ups
- Library - Click for a list of resources in our library
- Equipment Hire - We have several items such as electric breast pumps for hire at inexpensive rates for our members only
- Hospital Visiting - Our Area Social Secretaries liase with Our Hospital Coordinator to arrange for someone to visit you in hospital (With your consent)
- Support - for Premature Births, Bereaved Families and School Aged Multiples
- Telephone Contacts - either with a buddy system or by your Area Social Secretary
- Feeding Support - suggestions and contacts for breast and bottle feeding
- Social Events - Click for a list of social events
- AMBA - affiliation with National and State bodies, including AMBA magazine
- Classifieds - Members may sell items in the Bi-monthly Newsletter
